Ryan Kerr

Music; Bennett Bedoukian, Craig Pederson and Karen Ng-“audiopollination.” Multi-dimensional Ryan Kerr, who has been at the forefront of the Peterborough art scene for thirty years, has an upcoming show at TTOK called “Unexploded Ordnance”(https://ttok.ca/unexploded-ordnance/)November 9-12. This interview was done in person and I apologize beforehand for the sound issues. Among other things we discuss is what we should take away from the immense tragedy of WW1, his day at Union Theatre on Hunter St., his book distribution strore on King and George, how he got the Theatre on King location, the need for an arts council in Peterborough, Bernie Martin, the Precaious Festival(s), his Scarborough past, his high school drama teacher(who seems like the most incredible teacher), the skill of lighting in drama, how to keep Theatre on King running, future TTOK shows and the worry over finding future performers for theatre.
